Topic:  “The use of unnecessary and excessive force by police officers against civilians has caused a rise in police brutality rates. Here in the United States, the rise in police brutality has been a contributing factor to many social and political movements.”.

The end product of this course is a 5-8 page empirical literature review developed in light of a central issue.  Therefore, you will be writing a topic/problem statement that must be approved prior to proceeding with the next steps of writing an annotated bibliography, a rough draft of the literature review, and then the final draft of the literature review.

The final paper, 5-8 pages not counting the cover, abstract and reference page) is to be submitted
