 The Model Penal Code (MPC), as described in your textbook, includes four degrees of culpability  The purpose of this discussion is for you to demonstrate your understanding of mens rea by creating your own fictitious criminal case  To complete the discussion you will do the following  For your initial response, make up a fictitious criminal case story that involves one of the MPC degrees of culpability  Make sure your story has sufficient facts to demonstrate one of the degrees of culpability  Use case law and descriptions you find in your textbook to help you in preparing your story  DO NOT identify the degree of culpability you are attempting to demonstrate through your story
