Crime in Media

 How do the different theoretical perspectives presented in Chapter 1 regard the violence of young criminals like Klebold and Harris and the Menendez brothers? What effect did the media have on the public's conception of their crimes?  Be sure to contrast the media messages closest to the events with those of years later.
