Create an aspirational cover letter for the Job: Executive Director- Spring Arbor of Williamsburg Senior Living (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.

- (1-2 pages maximum), i.e. NOT reflective of your current experiences or skills, but what you might possess to apply to the position you've chosen (check out this example (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. and this handy guide (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site., but do not copy them)- this is something aspirational that you can be creative with and tailor to the job you are applying to- the information will NOT be accurate for you currently).

-The potential "position" Selected: Executive Director- Spring Arbor of Williamsburg Senior Living (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.

- Customize your cover letter to fit that specific position, based on it's requirements, tasks, and responsibilities. Of course you'll be making up stuff to include, sense you don't have 20 years of healthcare experience, or a Master's, etc. But use this exercise to get a sense for what these positions require and really picture yourself in the position of someone who is qualified enough to apply to a position like this. Familiarize yourself with the language they use, the preferred requirements, etc. so you know what to expect and how to prepare. I would recommend looking through each one in detail (especially the minimum/preferred requirements) before you pick one! Make sure it is clear in your cover letter which position you've selected. Your cover letter cannot be vague or generic. It must be tailored to the job you pick based on the provided job description below. The paragraphs should be substantial and customized to your life and one specific job.
