Controversies in Science

In this assignment we will explore some examples and perspectives to the types of controversy associated with science. We will specifically look at those controversies within the scientific community and those science related controversies from society at large that are not found within. 

1)  Genuine Controversies in science

2)  Controversies in the public eye but not for scientists

Big Think links to a review of such topics in the article “10 Examples of Settled Science that are still Controversial (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.” Choose one of these and explain why you think the public still perceives a controversy when the scientific community is settled.
