Then, compose an essay (660 words) analyzing how an originalist and an interpretivist would argue for the proper role of the Supreme Court in deciding cases related to your chosen topic.  Your first paragraph should present the issue and explain why it is important.  Your second paragraph should discuss why the Supreme Court would be involved, such as to solve a particular dispute.  The next section should present the originalist’s argument. The following section should present the interpretivist’s argument.  The essay should be written in an objective and informative manner rather than as a persuasive paper.  Be sure to cite the course materials and any outside information you used in researching your analytical essay.
