Connecting Mission to Vision

A college's vision statement identifies where the college is trying to go and its mission statement describes how it will get there. Your institution, ABC Community College, has faced declining fiscal resources at the rate of 2 percent per year for the past three years. As the president of ABCCC, the board of trustees has asked you to review the vision and mission statements in light of these financial challenges. For this question, prepare a 200–400 word executive summary of the elements of ABC Community College's mission that you would recommend to be dropped in the next academic year. Based on the readings, decide which element is least important and justify your decision in an executive summary to the board of trustees and campus leadership.
