Conducting Effective Interviews

profileareddy

Watch or listen to two interviews by two different interviewers. If possible, find interviews of the same subject, such as a politician, an author, a musician, or another celebrity or public figure. These interviews needn’t be long (10 or 15 minutes should do for each), and they can be audio or video interviews.

  • Evaluate these interviews and decide which of the two interviewers you consider to be the best—with best defined as the person who can get the most information, and the most unexpected information, without putting words in the subject’s mouth. (2 big para)
  • Identify three things that the better interviewer does better than the other interviewer. Explain how and why each of the better interviewer’s practices elicit more and better information. Use specific examples from the interviews in your explanation. (2 para)

PLEASE DO THE IN - TEXT CITATION FOR VIDEO/AUDIO INTERVIEW IN APA FORMAT AND PROVIDE REFERENCES.
