Visit the Doctoral Resource Center, and view the various computer-aided qualitative data analysis (CAQDA) software applications listed in the box entitled CAQDA:

Select 1 of the analysis software applications, and describe how it might be used to code qualitative data. Offer your reflections on the following questions:

Do you think the software will make your study more efficient? If so, how and why?   

How might the use of software be less efficient? More efficient?   

Did learning about the selected CAQDA application spark any research ideas related to your potential research focus for your dissertation research?  

Would you consider using your selected software application for a research study?
