Comparing Mortality in Different Populations

 It has been established that racial and ethnic minorities in the United States have worse health outcomes - including mortality - as compared to whites. What do you think are the causes of this disparity? Can you use an adjusted mortality rate to explain the excess mortality among minority racial and ethnic groups? How can it be used to develop health policies and related interventions?
