Comparison and contrast essay

Assignment: Write a comparison and contrast essay using oneor more of the following:

▪ one thing is better than another▪ things that seem different are actually alike▪ things that seem alike are actually different

750-1,000 wds., a double-spaced typed page,and only your analysis! No outside research.
Topic: Develop a strong thesis and make sure to state the essay’s main point of comparison or contrast.

Introduction Paragraph- last sentence needs to have the thesis (4-6 sents.)

​Body Paragraphs-topic sentences—first sentence of the paragraph that states the main point of the paragraph (at least 4 sents.)

Conclusion Paragraph-wrap up and push to a new direction. Do not summarize the essay. (3-5 sents.)
