Assignment:   After reading the articles by Rawlinson and Bernstein/Isackson, author a four-to-five page memorandum from the perspective of a police lieutenant addressing their troops.  Explain how those serving as police sergeants and lieutenants must ensure the public trust is not violated regarding inaccurate reporting of crimes.
