Company Allies or Acquisitions

For this assignment, craft a paper in which you hypothesize two companies that could be candidates to be allies or to be acquired by the other. For example, not long ago US Airways purchased American Airlines to become the world's largest airline. Can you think of any other companies that you could see this happening to/with? Your paper should reflect sound reasoning and should contain academic and professional research. It should also demonstrate academic thinking based on what has been learned and discussed in the course to date. Be creative in your thinking and application of logic.

Your paper should be at least four pages in length, not including cover and reference pages. Cite at least three other scholarly references and utilize proper APA format.
