2. Select  three (3) communication concepts or theories from your textbook or different communication concepts or theories from other sources and  match each communication concept or theory to an international community for further research and greater understanding of yourself.

3. List the communication concepts or theories and international communities in order of preference with your greatest preference listed first. Proposals will be approved on a first come, first serve basis. You will receive written notification in Moodle for which proposal is approved.

4. Write a paragraph for each communication concept or theory and international community to explain your choices. Answer the following questions in each paragraph:

· Why have you selected the communication concept or theory and matched it with the international community?

· What differences are you expecting to find? Will these expectations “cloud” your research

· What similarities are you hoping to find? How will finding these similarities make you feel as a global scholar?

5. Submit using the Moodle assignment link.  You will need to submit your answers as either a PDF or Word document in Moodle.  “Google Docs” and Pages” will not be accepted.
