Community mental health

Complete a presentation based on a community mental health program designed by the student. The presentation must include formulation of the program rationale/need for the program, the research basis for the program design (including multicultural considerations), articulation of the program vision and mission (i.e. philosophical/ideological foundations upon which the program is being built and the primary needs it will address), identification of staffing and community resources necessary to implement the program, description of potential funding sources, and a method for evaluating the success of the program. The presentation should be approx. 30 slides in power point form and may include the use of audio/video materials to enhance the audience’s understanding of the program. References will include a minimum of 3 peer review journals and materials from the required readings. Do not use website-resources, such as Wikipedia, FindArticles.com, Answers.com, etc. (except for video sources).
