Communications Ethics Discussion - topic is at end of instructions

1. Describe an event that you participated in or observed in your workplace that was unethical.  (Don't name the company or the individuals involved.)  If you have NOT observed anything unethical in your workplace, describe something you have personally observed in a business as a customer.
2. Which of the four dimensions of business behavior did this behavior belong to (see below)? and explain
   1. dimension 1: behavior that is illegal and unethical

   3. dimension 3: behavior that is legal yet unethical
   4. dimension 4: behavior that is both legal and ethical.  Explain.
3. What do you believe caused these people involved to behave unethically?  Relate this to at least one of the causes from the list below and support your selection with facts from the situation.

Topic -- a manager asking you to forge doctor signatures on computer generated RX so you can bill for medical equipment. Without this you will not get paid and will have to write of the expense as lost revenue.
