Discussion Activity

Identify a movie that has the theme of a family (functional or dysfunctional).  Within your group, give a brief overview of the movie so that everyone within the group has a sense of what the movie is about.  

Watch this movie and describe the dynamics that you observed based on what you read this week.  Discuss the roles of the characters in the movie and how they interact with one another.  

Using the same movie, discuss how the family is communicating with one another, specifically family intimacy. Describe how the family is committed or not committed to one another.  

Make sure in your discussion postings, you are referencing some of the material you are reading for this week.  I would like for you to connect your readings to your postings.
