Communication

For this paper, you will be directed to respond to a specific question or set of questions located below. This will require critical thought and application of your own thoughts and values to an interpersonal communication topic.

Do not put a heading on your paper.  The paper should be 1-2 pages (one FULL page minimum), typed, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, 12 point Times New Roman font. New paragraph for each question.

1. Why do you think so many people laugh at jokes that put down other people? 

2. Can a joke be funny even if you find it distasteful?
