From the e-Activity, imagine you are writing a letter to the editor of your local newspaper about your local school district’s math achievement test scores. Suggest at least three (3) approaches that you believe school leaders, parents, and teachers should take in order to improve student math scores. Provide specific examples in which these approaches have been successfully implemented to support your response.
Debate the use of the Common Core Standards versus the Standards of Learning (SOL) that have long been used by states. Since most states have already adopted the Common Core, consider the implications of SOL testing when states adopted the Common Core.
