It is amazing what the rates of obesity are growing to. Here in SC   where I live the average obesity is about 35% shockingly high, and as   I did not grow up here. I have seen the different dietary cultures and   eating behaviors of southern foods, they are often heavy comfort foods   which are very enjoyable. Most of the obesity is related to poor   socioeconomic living standards and it is often much less expensive to   buy processed unhealthy foods.  The uneducated population living   in poor standards are almost victims to there living standards and   there nutrient intake is not at the level it needs to be.  South   Carolina has the 12th highest adult obesity rate in the nation @32.3% 2016.
