Class Activity. Being a Critical Consumer of Messages

This is a group presentation project. Our topic is Universal Healthcare.

Please download the PowerPoint file and do the following:

Find two sources about universal health care and answer the following questions about them in the PowePoint:

1.   What biases may the source have?

2.   Does the source present any of the fallacies? If so, which fallacies?

3.   What does the source gain by believing in them?

4.  Should we believe this source? Why or why not?

5.   What biases may you have towards the topic, and how may this interfere with your perception of the topic?

The answers don't have to be extended. 3-4 small paragraphs are enough.

Note: there is already a Source #1 in the project. You can work on it or change it if you want.
