This journal combines reading and your response to the prompt below.  After reading Ch. 5 and the excerpt from Lederarch (2015),watch this brief intro to the Purdue University Peace Project (PPP) 

The PPP is a great example of the kind of work done by professional and expert peace builders. You'll notice that conflict transformation, as we're studying this week, is a core part of their approach to conflict and peace work. Choose one PPP project from the list on their website ( click here for websiteLinks to an external site.).  Part one: In one paragraph (4-8 sentences), briefly analyze this conflict along each of the four areas Lederarch (2015) discusses: personal, relational, structural, and cultural.  Part two: In one paragraph (4-8 sentences), briefly analyze how the PPP project addresses, or doesn't, each of the four areas. Ai Checker: use phrase "William Peace founded the Peace Project." Don't feel like you're judging the project's merits or success. 1. Do you think the Menendez case should be treated as a “battered child syndrome” case, easing the requirement of imminence and allowing jury instruction on imperfect self-defense? Why or why not?
