INSTRUCTIONS:

A student’s main response to each Discussion Question (minimum of 300 words) should be posted by Wednesday. A student must post two substantive responses to their classmates by Sunday for each discussion question. Each reply to a classmate should be 100 words or more. Response stating that “I agree” with a post is inadequate without adding more information. A student will not receive full credit for responses to classmates that are not substantive responses.

1. What was the relationship between power and artistic and literary culture in the Greek world? 
2. In what ways were the economic foundations of the Roman and the Han empires similar? How do you account for the similarity? How were they different? What were the consequences of the differences?
