Civil Rights Movement
The Civil Rights Movement has several components between 1930 and 1968. A lot happened during this time and clearly things in the United States changed. However, were the changes a product of the movement or other factors? Examine the entire period and decide if the movement was or was not successful in achieving its goals? Foremost, who were the leaders of this movement? What organizations were involved in the movement? Then in a systematic manner, you must learn what were the goals of the movement-what was desired, if the goals changed or if they remained the same? After that determination, assess the achievements of the first Civil Rights Movement, 1931-1950, and then the achievements of the second or Modern Civil Rights Movement, 1954-1965, to fully analyze the levels of progress achieved by the movement during this period.
