To prepare:

• Review Chapter 7, of the course text, and the other Learning Resources this week. Consider the similarities and differences between threat assessment and risk assessments in subject-based profiling.

Post responses to the following:

• Explain the differences and similarities between a risk assessment and a threat assessment when a profiling suspect.
• Explain in which situations you would use a risk assessment and in which you would use a threat assessment and why.
