As you have seen in the readings thus far, the American family has undergone many changes. These changes are impacting relationships, marriage, families, and parenthood. Of these four areas, choose one area that is of most interest to you to do some additional research on the changes that have occurred. Find two recent (within the last 5 to 7 years) scholarly articles on the area that you have selected that reflect the changes that have occurred. Briefly summarize each article and then compare the two articles. Your paper will include an introduction to the topic, a 2-paragraph summary for each article selected, and a 1- to 2-paragraph discussion comparing the information found for each article.

Please create your assignment as an APA-formatted Word document. Include a cover page, a reference page, and APA-formatted citations throughout the body of your paper. If you list a reference, you must demonstrate its use with a text citation. You will NOT need an abstract for this assignment. You will also include both articles you reviewed with your submission as a pdf of the article. Submit your articles and the assignment as separate attachments.  Please see the grading rubric below.
