Chapter 1

 

To successfully complete this course, Chapter 1 of your dissertation must be accepted into the Level 1 Consultative Review process. Without meeting this requirement, you will fail the course and need to retake the class. 

• Knowing that you will be unable to move forward in your program without Chapter 1 of your dissertation being accepted into the Level 1 Consultative Review process, discuss the specific actions you will take to meet this requirement by the end of Week 6 of this course. 
• How does this plan align to your initial Individual Success Plan (ISP) that must be submitted during this topic? 
• What questions do you have for your chair that need to be addressed for you to prepare your ISP and the minimum progression milestone?

Reminders

• Communicate regularly with your chair and schedule at least one virtual call with your chair during Weeks 1-4, and another during Weeks 5-8. 
• Don't forget! While your chair is reviewing your Chapter 1 draft, work on your Chapter 2 or 3 outline due in Week 7 or your next deliverable.
