Assignment Parameters:   •5-page minimum length (1250 -1500 words) •Use APA style, including a title page and reference page (which do not count in the 5-page minimum length), and cite all sources.

ASSIGNMENT:  Use your selected country ( Jamaica or Brazil) and define the level of transnational organized crime in which they participate or to which they are subject.  What is the predominant form of transnational crime?  Where do they operate?  How has your selected country attempted to deal with the problem? Continuing to act as a liaison from the United States, develop a proposal for the president or prime minister of your chosen country regarding how to deal with this problem.  Write the plan by considering the following factors the group:

•History of the group 

•Strength, arms, and identification of targeted group 

•Their tactics, leadership, and possible reasons for their criminology 

•Terrain in which target operates and how to use that terrain to advantage 

•Environment (civilian population support for target, possible casualties during operations, etc.)  Proposed Response 

•Assignment of leadership to lead operations against targets •Operations to target the group 

•Interdiction of financial assets 

•Other tactics or information you deem important to countering this group.
