 After reviewing the assigned case, prepare responses to the following questions:

1) How realistic is it that an organization can be "blindsided" by the external environment?

2) Who are the stakeholders for Watson and what are their needs?

3) Having identified Watson's stakeholders and their needs, do all stakeholders possess the same degree of power, legitimate claims, and urgency?

4) How could Watson assure that something like this doesn't happen again?

5) Which of the three strategic alternatives would you support for Watson going forward?  Provide the advantages and risks of each alternative.
