Use the background readings to write a 3 page paper (not including the cover page or reference page) that addresses the following:

1. Describe the purpose of quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research.

2. Analyze components of a qualitative and quantitative study using the articles listed below. First, understand the type of method used (qualitative or quantitative). One study uses a qualitative approach and one study uses a quantitative approach. Then, answer the following questions about each article:
