Case Study - Nepal Wireless Networking Project

Objective:  

Think about networking solutions critically and gain an appreciation for distributed projects.

What to do: 

 Read the report on the Nepali Wireless Networking in the attchment

Answer the following questions in a written report:

1. What examples of convergence are shown in the case study?

2. What types of data and signals are being used in the project and where?

a. Example:  Digital to Digital 

3. What applications/services are being brought to users by the system?   What other applications/services could be deployed using the system. Do a little bit of research, are there other similar projects that are bringing wireless networks to remote regions?
