You are asked to see a 47-year-old man who sustained a left-hemisphere CVA nine months ago.  He does not have any hemiparesis.  During the evaluation, he has trouble following simple directions and answering yes/no questions.  He speaks in sentences with normal intonation patterns, but the words he uses are mostly nonsensical.
