1. Select one of the three containment strategies discussed: Restrictive, Permissive, or Hybrid.  Assess its strengths and weaknesses.  What additional evidence or information would be needed to assess it further? 

2. Pick a country that faced the COVID-19 pandemic. Assess its response through the containment strategy you selected in the previous question. Was it successful in handling the pandemic? Why or why not?

3. Lastly, Travica notes “an early intervention in preventing and controlling a pandemic is as important as preparations for confronting an enemy in a war.” (Section 4.4 Response Timing) As many public health experts warn a similar pandemic will likely come again, what are some lessons learned from dealing with COVID-19 that governments and health organizations should keep in mind to prevent or manage the next pandemic?
