Case Assignment

Choose a major corporation and at least two industry leaders to evaluate supply chain management. Be sure to address key components we have covered within the duration of our course and other focus areas.   

Key areas to focus on as well:

Principles of Supply Chain Management

Principle 1: Segment Customers Based on Service Needs

Principle 2: Customize the Logistics Network

Principle 3: Listen to Signals of Market Demand and Plan Accordingly

Principle 4: Differentiate Products Closer to the Customer

Principle 5: Source Strategically

Principle 6: Develop a Supply Chainwide Technology Strategy

Prepare a report to address all aspects of the case study/assignment.  This report should be no less than 10 pages of content.  You need to include outside sources and properly cite and reference your sources.  You must have at least 10 references, 5 of which must be scholarly peer-reviewed articles.  In addition to the 10 pages of content, you will want a title page and a reference sheet.  This report needs to be in proper APA format.

Key areas to focus on are:

Vision, mission, ethics, long term plan, ROI, evaluate the supply chain management, competition, losses, gains, and, what are some of the major challenges and issues facing supply chain in the future with the corporation you have chosen, conclusion of the major corporation.
