○ Locate and summarize the conceptual or theoretical framework.

● Evaluate the problem statement and purpose statement using the following questions as a guide:

○ Is the purpose statement clear and concise? Is it directly linked to the problem statement?

○ Does the purpose statement include relationships among variables (quantitative) or a central phenomenon (qualitative)?

○ Does the purpose statement identify the participants and site?

○ Does the purpose statement mention a theory?

● Evaluate the conceptual or theoretical framework using the following questions as a guide:

○ Does the literature review establish the basis for the conceptual or theoretical framework?

○ Is the conceptual or theoretical framework easy to follow and logical?

○ Does the conceptual or theoretical framework contribute to the study in a meaningful way?
