Capital Punishment

Research the state of Florida reporting laws for sex offenders. Several large U.S. cities have ordinances that do not allow convicted sex offenders to live within a certain number of feet from schools, playgrounds, public swimming pools, and other areas where children can congregate. 

• Does your state and/or local community have laws that restrict where convicted sex offenders can live or work?   
• What are the issues being debated about such ordinances? 
• What are the positive and negative consequences of such ordinances?
