Assignment

1) On pages 6 & 7 of Chapter 1, our text discusses the "Games Approach" to coaching.
 

First part, for your assignment. Create a 300-400 word response on the importance of "Games Approach" coaching.
 

Describe what this means to you and how you implement or plan to implement this philosophy into your coaching. 

The Second part of your assignment is to describe at least one example of a drill or modified game in which you have used or can use the "Games Approach" method to coaching basketball. Please be specific with your response by providing the instructions and purpose for the drill or modified game that you selected.
 

I would like for everyone to Use either one of the following codes to communicate to me and to your fellow classmates: O for Offense and X for Defense. (ie. O1 is being guarded by X1). Or you may use #’s for the Offense and X for the Defense. (ie. 1 is being guarded by X1) or (1) has the Ball and is being guarded by X1.
