 Explain why the four steps involved in the control function are important. How are the various ratios used by accountants and managers differently in the control function? Prior to entering into this discussion, review Chapter 8: The Five Management Functions as a Coordinated System. Of the five management functions, which do you expect will experience the most dramatic changes in the next decade? Defend your answer. Which will have the least amount of change?
