Assume the cost of excavation (direct cost) is 15 SR per 1 m3 (this cost only includes the equipment and labor prices)
Calculate the direct cost, then calculate the indirect cost which includes the overheads, contingency and profit. After that calculate the direct and indirect cost. (4 marks)
- VAT 15%
- Overheads 10%
- Contingency 6%
- Profit 12.5%
Note: each square is with total area of 6*6. And the level of excavation for each square to reach to level Zero as illustrated below.
