Objectives

• Calculate the two company’s financial ratios
• Analyze and compare the two company’s financial performance in their respective industries.

Instructions

1. Choose a pair of companies from within a single industry that you find interesting
2. Prepare a report on these companies that includes:
   1. The background to each company and its situation and relevance to the industry (or industries) it is associated with.
   2. A comparative analysis of the companies that:
      1. compares the companies across as many of the dimensions covered in this course as possible
      2. focuses significantly on the financial performance indicators as studied in Unit 10 and Unit 11 readings
3. The report should be a maximum of five pages double spaced (excluding title page and reference page), and should be consistent with APA referencing styles.
