BUSINESS PLAN PT 4
The purpose of this assignment is to create an implementation plan for a strategic initiative proposed in Topic 5. A key part of every business plan is developing an implementation schedule that identifies all the critical actions necessary for successful plan execution. Consider the example Table 9.1 located in the textbook. Create a timeline or chart that illustrates the implementation schedule for critical action steps necessary for successful execution of the strategic initiative.
The schedule should include the following:
· Identify action steps necessary for implementation of the plan.
· Identify professional competencies and allocation of resources.
· Describe how the resources and professional competencies are matched to the strategic initiative.
· Identify how the action plan aligns to the organization’s strategic initiatives.
While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting

ted for monitoring the progress of the action plan. If the plan is well conceived and the individuals complete their activities according to schedule, the unit will meet its strategic objectives. If all the departments and functional areas in the organization complete their objectives, the overall strategies will be successfully implemented. It may help to look at a real-life example of such an action plan.
Imagine a large physician group practice that has decided to acquire and deploy a multi-featured EMR system that will be linked to the local hospitals where the physicians have privileges and send their patients. The action plan to carry out that decision might look like TABLE 9-1.
