MOTIVATIONThe University Alliances North America tenant has been made available for faculty and students at universities who belong to the University Alliances and are hosted by one of the North America University Competency Centers (UCCs). SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is an open collaborative platform for business intelligence intended for internal business use where employees share with each other. SAC does not protect user identities since everyone is assumed to work for the same organization. Thus, the UCC at Magdeburg has developed an Identity Management System (IDM) to protect academic users’ identities within our SAC tenant. While you will still be able to share with others, you will not know their private information such as an email address.
|
|
IMPORTANCEBecause your email address will be known only to you, the user, only you will be able to reset your own password. Your UCC, the system administrator, or others will not be able to help you should you have forgotten your password. Therefore, it is extremely important that you follow the steps on the following pages when you sign into SAC for the first time with the login ID that has been provided you. (There are three steps in this document.)
