After reading Case 8 from the textbook "New Belgium Brewing: Crafting and Fresh Social Responsibility and Sustainability Initiative," create a new thread and discuss the following questions.  Your initial response should be approximately 250 words.  

1. What are some of the environmental issues that New Belgium Brewing is working to address in its business? How do you think this fits into NBB's overall business strategy? What do you think is motivating NBB to focus on the environment?

2. What do you think the role of the EPA or regulators in general is in defining the business strategy of a private company? Should the government create a mandate for businesses to use more alternative energy to reduce environmental impacts of business operations?

3. What if NBB's approach is less profitable? How should a business approach the issue of profit with its shareholders when focusing on environmental concerns like pollution and/or climate change?
