The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of disability to public accommodations and commercial facilities. This act has been interpreted to include certain information systems as well. All information systems development projects should take ADA issues into consideration during development. Accommodating disabled employees and customers must never become an afterthought. Even if you do not presently experience physical limitations, you may in the future, or you may have employees under your supervision who require special tools to enable access to information systems. Research “information systems access solutions”. Provide a description of 3 hardware or software solutions, the solution provider, and cost of accommodating each limitation listed below:
