Consider how the transformation plan that you wrote in Weeks 1–4 may need revision to account for the global dimension of management and competition presented this week.
Revise Stages 1–4, taking into consideration the following issues:
· Your company is already competing in foreign markets. Will your company enter new foreign markets as a part of your transformation plan? If so, what entry strategies do you recommend? If not, explain.
· What changes, if any, are you recommending to your organization’s structure in its existing or potentially new foreign markets?
· Does your company face political risks in its foreign markets that need to be addressed? Explain.
· Do you anticipate developing strategic alliances with foreign partners? Explain.
· Doh, Luthans, and Gaur (2024) caution managers about the risks and pitfalls they may face when pursuing global transformation. How do you suggest your company minimize the likelihood of negative outcomes from its global endeavors?
· What other global issues do you need to consider as a part of your transformation plan?
Conduct additional research to supplement the global information that is provided in your case study.
Include, where appropriate, applicable graphs, charts, tables, and figures, which are excluded from the page count minimum.
Indicate the revisions you made with bold, italics, or highlighted text so that your faculty member can easily see the changes.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
Submit your assignment.

Nike should train its leaders in numerous evaluation approaches to attain these goals. International labor difficulties must be addressed to recruit and retain new staff. We examined concepts and links. Nike aims to use all the data to overhaul its structure. Nike wants to create a 15-question staff poll for more data. Employee satisfaction, motivation, engagement, team performance, and organizational culture will be assessed for workforce concerns. Grigoraș (2023) offers one-on-one meetings, newsletters, emails, and online polls for evaluation distribution. These suggestions attempt to improve organizational culture, engagement, and happiness. Human resource management aims to increase worker productivity through manager and team leader leadership. This goal requires examining workplace conduct elements such as aptitude, cognitive ability, disposition, attitudes, affective states, and emotional intelligence. Johan & Yusul (2022).
Evaluating organizations' and change readiness will be more accessible. Define an organizational readiness assessment's key elements and administration, determine its usefulness, and explain why. Employee, corporate, cultural, and leadership assessment data can help Nike prepare and develop. These factors impact organizational readiness. We will end by addressing how Nike might use evaluation data in preparing for transformation.
Reasons for organizational transformation and preparation
I'm excited to continue as Nike's lead consultant and achieve these aims. We must understand organizational readiness and change attitudes. ORAs (Godard, 2022). Strategy and knowing if the organization can finish the job quickly are crucial. Nike needs extensive project organizational readiness testing. Organizational preparedness assessment and administration basics include evaluating project goals and objectives, concerns and expectations, adaptability, failure-reduction approaches, governance, decision-making, and other necessary project demands (Godard, 2022). Nike's shift readiness worries are every day. However, no method is universal. Early organizational readiness is proactive. Early participation shows organizational stability and change initiative identification. Prioritizing individuals will help the organization prosper. Team members' input transforms decision-making. The alignment approach develops organizational knowledge and desire from scratch, enabling optimization and improvement (Drexler & Hernandez, 2022). An effective, people-centered transformation requires these. Organizational competencies must represent mission, goals, and culture. Increases company adaptability. To understand people's viewpoints and overcome challenges, we outline our transformation, methods, and structure with leadership. Our judgment will only function if the team understands why change is needed, what it means to them, and how to succeed. We organize adaptation, promote skills, and find value-realization solutions. Utilization and effectiveness of road maps improve efficiency and value from introduction to future initiatives (Drexler & Hernandez, 2022).
Value of conducting an organizational readiness assessment.
Nike will benefit economically from an organizational readiness evaluation to ensure success if they implement the recommended changes. It's best to avoid huge projects without knowing if the company has the resources or assistance to complete them. It may also save the organization money, time, and reputation by ensuring project completion and resolving concerns. Leadership supports the project's readiness assessment, which includes goals, objectives, expectations, concerns, and adaptability. Avoiding failure and other challenges is our goal (Godard, 2022).
How to use results from employee, organizational, cultural, and leadership assessments to promote readiness and change.
With a clear purpose, communication, and measurement, it may be easier for the employees to grasp the significant changes. I propose addressing the details with its entire workforce to promote employee readiness change since these individuals are vital. It is advantageous that they are included, ready, and can adjust to the transformation. Including them will provide a sense of ownership by investing themselves in the changes. Inspiring and motivating staff is a vital part of implementing changes, as they are directly affected by the deviations, and understanding the changes will better prepare them from the onset.
How these topics impact organizational readiness.
Assess, assemble, activate, and advance to change. Our reactions to change differ depending on the situation. Feedback enhances growth. Leadership assistants are carefully chosen. Communication and training alter projects. Better organizational planning helps (Drexler & Hernandez, 2022). Engaged personnel review the route and why we started it, building commitment. Nike requires sight and no detours. Nike should review past strategies to succeed. Nike must streamline, inspire, and engage employees. Change is difficult but vital. Nike must plan to finish. Making adjustments through assessment Organizational readiness evaluations inform employees about potential changes and ensure they have the tools and skills to participate. Telling employees makes them feel valued and helps the company succeed. Quality improvement starts with a readiness assessment. Organizational programming and project preparation are needed for major changes. Organizational readiness begins with task performance change. Organizational resources and personnel attributes will be assessed for improvement (Godard, 2022).
Conclusion
To reiterate today's proposal, we explained the rationale that derives organizational readiness and change. We discussed the major components of an organizational readiness assessment and its administration. We see how conducting an organizational readiness assessment is valuable to Nike and how Nike could use the results from the employee, organizational, cultural, and leadership assessments to promote readiness and change and how these topics impact organizational readiness. Lastly, we discussed how Huffman could use these assessment results to prepare an organization for change. Change is never easy, but it is possible, necessary, and accomplished using these suggestions and guidelines.

The establishment of Nike took place in 1964 because of the collaborative efforts of Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight. The firm is headquartered in the state of Oregon inside the United States and has the distinction of being the largest worldwide supplier of sports footwear and apparel. Moreover, it serves as a notable manufacturer of athletic gear. The fiscal year 2020 saw a notable achievement in terms of financial success, with sales exceeding a substantial amount of US$37.4 billion
The corporation had a global workforce of over 76,000 individuals in the same year. It was assessed to be worth over US$32 billion, establishing itself as the most valuable sports brand globally. Nike secured the 89th position among the top U.S. firms based on their total sales (Statista.com, 2023).

Nike engages in marketing many items under its brand, in addition to several sub-brands such as Nike Golf, Nike Pro, Nike+, Air Jordan, Nike Blazers, Air Force 1, Nike Dunk, Air Max, Nike Skateboarding, and Nike CR7 (Nike.com, 2023). Additionally, the corporation has several subsidiary entities, including Jordan Brand and Converse. Nike, a renowned multinational corporation, sponsors several prominent athletes and sports teams on a global scale. Additionally, the company has exclusive ownership of the well-known trademarks 'Just Do It' and the 'Swoosh' logo.
The concern over Nike's declining sales in the United States, which pose a serious threat to the company's market position, is one of the reasons for choosing this case study. In light of Nike's well-established influence over various generational cohorts, it is advisable for the company, operating as a consulting business, to adopt a strategic approach that prioritizes marketing initiatives targeting younger demographics. By tapping into the preferences and purchasing power of younger demographics, Nike can revitalize its sales and regain its market dominance. This strategic approach would involve leveraging social media platforms, partnering with popular influencers, and creating innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with the younger generation's values and aspirations. (Celestino, 2023). This approach is crucial to sustaining Nike's prevailing position of market dominance. Nike has not fully used its marketing powers.
The success of Nike in North America, particularly among customers from Generation Z, demonstrates its strong appeal and connection with this demographic (Biron, 2019). To sustain its market leadership, Nike, as a consulting business, should adopt a strategic approach by directing its marketing efforts towards younger demographic segments, considering its already established influence over other generational cohorts. Nike has not fully used its marketing powers. The success of Nike in North America, particularly among customers of different age groups, especially teenagers belonging to Generation Z, is evident from its resonance with this demographic (Biron, 2019). By targeting younger demographic segments, Nike can capitalize on its existing market leadership and further expand its customer base (Gupta, 2023). This strategic approach would enable Nike to tap into the spending power and influence of Generation Z, a generation known for their strong affinity for brands and trends. Additionally, by leveraging its success in North America, Nike can establish a strong foothold in other global markets by tailoring its marketing efforts to resonate with the preferences and aspirations of younger consumers worldwide.
Currently, I hold the position of Head Consultant for Global Marketing. In this role, my primary duties include shaping the brand's image, fostering client relationships, and driving innovative advancements in marketing. Nike operates within a highly competitive industry, which requires the company to constantly adapt to changing consumer trends and technological advances. This study investigates the tactics used by Nike, a well-known firm recognized for its robust brand image, in proficiently navigating the challenges linked to digital transformation, evolving consumer preferences, and the growing importance of sustainability (Barney & S.H.W., 2019). As the Head of Global Marketing, I am faced with the opportunity to lead substantial changes within the marketing field and contribute meaningfully to the overall organizational transformation at Nike.
This essay will examine three key factors that promote organizational change within the marketing department. These factors include the integration of data analytics to drive targeted marketing strategies, the adoption of agile methodologies to enhance responsiveness and adaptability, and the implementation of customer-centric approaches to personalize marketing efforts (Allioui & Mourdi, 2023). By exploring these factors, organizations can effectively navigate the evolving landscape of digital marketing and stay ahead of their competitors. Additionally, this essay will discuss the potential challenges that may arise during the implementation process and provide recommendations for successful organizational change in the marketing department.
Phase 1: Implementing consumer-centric marketing tactics is crucial for instigating a substantial transformative process. The proposed technique would use data analytics, market research, and consumer insights to understand our intended target audience better. This viewpoint will facilitate the development of customized marketing campaigns, individualized product offers, and immersive brand experiences. According to Holbeche (2018), prioritizing the consumer in our marketing endeavors can improve brand loyalty, boost customer happiness, and stimulate revenue development.
Phase 2: The retail industry has significantly transformed due to the emergence of digital technologies and electronic commerce. Nike must integrate digital and multichannel technologies into its marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge. The method involves using digital platforms, social media, and mobile apps to establish and nurture consumer connections, provide engaging content, and promote seamless purchasing experiences across many channels (David et al., 2020). The amalgamation of digital and physical touchpoints will enable the augmentation of brand exposure, the stimulation of online transactions, and the creation of a unified brand experience for our consumer base.
Phase 3. The contemporary business landscape places significant emphasis on the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility, highlighting the need to adopt sustainable marketing tactics. Nike has shown their commitment to sustainability via several efforts, including implementing the "Move to Zero" campaign and introducing sustainable product innovation. In my capacity as the Head of Global Marketing, I will undertake the task of leading the implementation of environmentally conscious marketing approaches across our extensive array of promotional initiatives and communication channels (David et al., 2020). The strategy encompasses advocating for transparency, prioritizing sustainable materials and production practices, and aligning with social and environmental considerations. By implementing sustainable marketing strategies, a company can enhance its brand reputation, appeal to customers who prioritize social responsibility, and make a constructive contribution towards the advancement of sustainability.
In summary, as the Head Consultant of Global Marketing at Nike, Inc., I acknowledge the importance of organizational reform within the highly competitive sportswear industry. The position I endorse places emphasis on prioritizing marketing strategies that are centered on the needs and preferences of consumers. It also advocates for embracing attempts to change marketing practices in the digital and omnichannel realms. Additionally, it promotes the adoption of sustainable marketing practices. These metrics enhance the brand's relevance, effectively engage customers, and encourage growth. By implementing these strategic goals, our primary goal is positioning Nike as a leading entity in innovation, sustainability, and customer-centricity. Ultimately, the implementation of this strategy will result in the enhancement of our organization's competitive advantage and the creation of sustainable value for our stakeholders over an extended period.
