Interpersonal communication includes verbal, nonverbal, and written communication. Provide an example of a person’s behavior explained in two of the three forms. For example: 

•  A child tells the parent that she does not like her dinner.
• Verbal: “No! I don’t want to eat this!"
• Non-verbal: She throws food on the floor.

Then answer the following questions: 

• Which form of communication is more effective for each person in the scenario? 
• How would you respond to each form of communication?
