Brochure and Business Report 

For our first assignment, you will be designing a brochure for a local business that you will later thoroughly research and write about for your business report.

Requirements

Choose a local business to research for both the brochure and the business report. Once you have decided on a business, create a brochure for the business with relevant information for a particular audience. You audience for the brochure might be returning or potential customers, clients, or investors. Make sure the brochure has one consistent kind of audience and that the design and content is tailored for that audience’s needs and expectations. 

Assessment

Your brochure will be assessed according to the following criteria:

-- Ability to meet the minimum requirements of the assignment

-- Ability to convey necessary information

-- Ability to attract the intended audience with design 

-- Elements of design/ formatting

-- Audience awareness/ appeal 

-- Use of research and reliability of information (you may provide citations either on the brochure itself or in a seperate works cite page) 

-- Appropriateness of tone and awareness of the rhetorical situation

-- Lack of errors in spelling and punctuation
