In the assignments in this course, you have focused on  school-wide and/or district-wide literacy and its impact on overall  student performance. You have explored the research literature and  determined specific strategies to assist in improving literacy at the  institutional level.

For this assignment, you will synthesize your learning and other  assignment products as you reflect on what you’ve learned and how to use  it to lead literacy achievement in your school or district.

Step 1. Reflect
Reflect on the knowledge and skills acquired in this course and how you will apply the learning in your professional setting.

Step 2. Synthesize
Synthesize all you have learned in this course by considering the following questions:

• How will you apply what you have learned in your module assignments to strengthen literacy at your school or district?
• Why is it important for leaders to have the knowledge and  skills to assess school-wide and/or district-wide literacy? Provide  examples.

Step 3. Reflect
