Question 1 – Boston Massacre: After reading about the events leading up to the Boston Massacre, what do you think of the colonists’ actions and the actions of the British soldiers?  Was either side justified in their actions?  If so, why and if not why?  Were there other alternatives that each side could have taken?  If so why, which side should have acted differently?

Question 2 - Boston Tea Party: After reading about the events of the Boston Tea Party, what do you think of the colonists’ actions? Were they justified in dumping the tea? If so why and if not why? Were there other alternatives that the colonists could have taken? If so why and if not why?  Again, remember there is no such identity as an American patriotic identity in America-yet.
