Book review

a. The book review project is the student’s opportunity to interact more deeply with a particular aspect or variety of religion of interest to the student. You are to choose and read an academic book that discusses a facet of religion (broadly construed) and write a book review that summarizes the main thesis of the work, describes how the author supports the thesis, assesses the claims the author makes, and includes a personal reaction to the work based on personal experience and in-class discussions. The book review length is 1500 words.
